Mild with a sweet flavor profile, hake has a soft flesh and holds together extremely well while cooking making it a great choice for fish stews, fish sandwiches and fish tacos. Hake has softer flesh and is less flaky than other whitefish such as cod, haddock, and pollock. 1 portion is approx. 16 oz (1 lb). We recommend 8 oz per person.
Easy Seafood Recipe - Sear in oil over medium-high heat. Cook for 2 minutes. Lower heat and add butter. Let butter brown for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
