Halibut, part of the right eyed flatfish family, is regularly caught by New England fishermen. Atlantic halibut was named MSC certified as sustainable in 2013. Halibut, prized for its large buttery flakes, is mild and sweet. Low in saturated fat and sodium and excellent source of protein. Great for roasting, ceviche, pan-searing or poaching. 1 portion is approx. 16 oz (1 lb). We recommend 8 oz per person.
