Hake has softer flesh and is less flaky than other whitefish such as cod, haddock, and pollock. 1 portion is approx. 16 oz (1 lb). Easy Seafood Recipe - Sear in oil over medium-high heat. Cook for 2 minutes. Lower heat and add butter. Let butter brown for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
